Security Information

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This page explains how NITELY ("we", "us", or "our") keeps the data you trust us with safe, who is legally responsible for it, and how we manage the conflicts of interest that come with being a platform built by people who are also active in the industry it serves. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

1. Infrastructure and storage security

All of our storage and infrastructure providers are SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliant. This means the systems that host, store and back up your data are independently audited against recognised international standards for information security management and data protection.

2. Who operates NITELY

NITELY is owned by, run and maintained by The A17 Business Group Ltd, company number 16148045. The A17 Business Group Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and complies with all applicable GDPR laws and regulations of the UK.

3. Conflict of interest statement

NITELY was created, designed, and is operated by active nightlife promoters, and its technology and customer relationships may be sold to or shared with rival promoter groups. This creates a potential conflict of interest where commercial decisions about features, data access, pricing, or visibility could be influenced by the promotional interests of the owning or buying parties rather than being neutral across all users.

Potential conflicts

  • Competitive bias: Owners or buyers who are also promoters could prioritise their own events, venues, or partner brands in listings, recommendations, or analytics.
  • Data advantage: Access to platform data (guest lists, conversion metrics, audience insights) could be used to benefit one promoter group over others.
  • Pricing and terms: Commercial terms or product roadmaps could be shaped to advantage affiliated businesses rather than the wider user base.

How we resolve it

  • Structural separation: Product, data, and commercial decisions for NITELY are made independently from any single promoter's operations, with clear internal firewalls between platform staff and promotional activities.
  • Neutral treatment: All promoters and venues are treated equally in core product logic (listings, visibility, API access), regardless of ownership or buyer affiliations.
  • Data governance: User and event data are not shared with owning or buying promoter groups beyond what is available to all users under the same terms; any aggregated insights are anonymised and non-identifiable.
  • Disclosure and oversight: Any actual or potential conflicts (for example a sale to a rival group, shared staff, or joint ventures) are disclosed and logged internally and, where material, to affected users; conflicted individuals are recused from relevant decisions.
